Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over your data.

Effective: June 2026
This is a general template, not legal advice. Have a licensed attorney review it for your jurisdiction before launch.

The short version

  • We collect what you give us (email, order details, messages) and standard technical data (device, cookies, analytics).
  • We use it to deliver products, run the newsletter, improve the site, and show relevant ads.
  • We use Google AdSense (including the DART cookie), analytics, and an email provider.
  • We don't sell your personal information. You can opt out, access, or delete your data.
  • We keep data only as long as needed — see the retention table below.

1.Who we are

This policy explains how Parentif ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through parentif.com. For privacy questions, contact privacy@parentif.com. Where this policy refers to a "data controller", that is Parentif.

2.What we collect

You give us: name and email (newsletter, account, checkout), billing details processed by our payment provider, and the content of messages you send. Collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring source, and cookie identifiers. From third parties: limited data from payment, advertising, and analytics partners.

We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers. Card data is entered directly with our payment processor and never stored on our servers.

3.How we use your data

6.Analytics & email

We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand site usage, and an email service provider (e.g., MailerLite) to manage subscriptions and send newsletters. Each acts as a processor under our instructions. You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in its footer.

7.Third-party processors

We share data only with providers who help us run the Service — including hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and advertising partners — under agreements that require them to protect your data. We do not sell your personal information.

10.Your rights — GDPR (EEA/UK)

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email privacy@parentif.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

11.Your rights — CCPA/CPRA (California)

California residents may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, request deletion or correction, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. 14.Do Not Track & changes

Because there is no consistent industry standard, we do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. We may update this policy; the "Effective" date reflects the latest version.
