1.Who we are & acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of parentif.com and all related content, products, newsletters, and services (together, the "Service"), operated by Parentif ("Parentif", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Cookie Policy, and DMCA Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your location, to purchase products or create an account. The Service is intended for adults caring for children and is not directed to children. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
3.Permitted and prohibited use
You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial parenting use. You agree not to: copy, scrape, republish, or redistribute our content; resell, share, or sublicense any digital product; reverse-engineer or circumvent any security or access control; upload malicious code; misuse forms, comments, or reviews; impersonate others; or use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.
4.Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
5.Intellectual property
All content on the Service — articles, ebooks, guides, courses, planners, printables, images, designs, logos, and the "Parentif" name — is owned by or licensed to Parentif and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access content for personal use only. No other rights are granted.
6.No AI training on our content
7.User content
If you submit comments, reviews, or messages, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and reproduce that content in connection with the Service. You are responsible for what you submit and confirm it is lawful and does not infringe anyone's rights. We may remove any user content at our discretion.
8.Digital products — terms of sale
When you purchase a digital product (ebook, guide, course, planner, printable, or bundle), you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use it for your own family. You may print copies for personal use. You may not share, resell, distribute, or post the files publicly.
Delivery. Products are delivered electronically — a download link is provided immediately after payment is confirmed and is also available in your account.
Chargebacks. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us to resolve a genuine issue is a breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to suspend access, revoke licenses, and recover associated costs in response to fraudulent or bad-faith disputes.
9.Recommended products & affiliate disclosure
Parentif features recommended products and services that we select editorially. Some of these are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you purchase through them. This never changes the price you pay and never determines our recommendations. See our Disclaimer for our full affiliate disclosure, consistent with FTC guidance (16 CFR Part 255).
10.Third-party links & services
The Service links to third-party sites and uses third-party providers (payment, hosting, email, advertising, analytics). We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.
11.Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Our content is general parenting information and is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, nutritional, legal, or financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional about your child's specific needs. See our Disclaimer.
12.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parentif and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) US $100.
13.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Parentif and its team from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14.Dispute resolution & class-action waiver
Any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis. You and Parentif waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action. The parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing formal proceedings.
15.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Parentif operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16.Changes & termination
We may update these Terms at any time; the "Effective" date shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, and may terminate access for breach, at any time.
